Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a Day On, Not Off

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once famously stated, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: ‘What are you doing for others?'” Each year, Kaiser Permanente staff and physicians answer that question and honor Dr. King’s legacy by volunteering with a local non-profit organization.  This year, approximately 50 staff, physicians and their families spent the day here at the Foodbank of Southern California, sorting food for area families in need.

Thank you very much to these valued volunteers!
