Bank of America Salutes The Foodbank

The Foodbank of Southern California is proud to be recognized with a grant award by Bank of America Charitable Foundation, for its outstanding work in addressing the critical needs in the community during this challenging time. The economic impact of Covid-19 continues to take its toll, as no-income, low-income, children, families and seniors face food insecurity. The funding received will provide access to nutritional food for those who would otherwise go without.

As message from Aja Baker, SVP, Community Relations Manager, Bank of America:

The COVID-19 pandemic increased challenges around poverty and health, with local food banks seeing an immediate and significant increase in demand for their services. Bank of America recognizes the important role food security plays in economic stability, and that is why we are a supporter of The Foodbank of Southern California, and their role in helping the most vulnerable Angelenos get back to a safe and healthy supportive environment.
